‘Spring Enthusiasm’ is inspired by my parent’s garden at this time of year. The garden used to belong to my Grandmother and we used to visit her at Easter and I used to help pick flowers from the garden to decorate the church at Easter. We’d find anything that was flowering and carry unwieldy buckets of wayward stems to the small church. We’d decorate the font which is just inside the door and would often become a bit of a floral obstacle for people to negotiate as our enthusiasm often got the better of us.
